after long thinking it would be europe where we used all of our miles...nature called.
miles used:
110,000 aa miles = 5 weeks minivan rental w/ unlimited miles
83,000 united miles = 4 nights luxury hotels...all other lodging...camping, cottages,huts,lighthouses and bb...
140,000 delta miles = 4 plane rt/tks
( still kept 60,000 amex, and useless and worthless 15,000 @ expedia)
we started with option A
fly to n.y and rent minivan there...
niagara,toronto,algonquin park,montreal,mont tremblant,quebec,new brunswick,prince edward's island,cape breton,st. margarets bay,keijimbujik,maine,boston and back to n.y
30 days
but after a bit of research...NEWFOUNLAND found it's way into the itinerary...so...
option B
fly to n.y and rent minivan...
montreal,quebec city,new brunswick,p.e.i,cape breton,port aux basques,cape anguille,twillingate,gros morne,l'anse aux meadows and st. anthony,
port aux choix,blow me down provincial park,antigonish,st.margaret's bay and peggy's cove,and back to n.y
